What is an AI image editor?

An AI image editor, also called an AI photo editor, is a photo editor you talk to: you upload a picture, describe the change in plain words, and an image model redraws only what you asked for. There are no layers, masks or brushes to learn.

AIImageEditor.pro is an online AI image editor built around that idea. Type "remove the man in the red cap" or "make it golden hour" and the editor keeps the faces, the pose and the framing while it changes the light, the background or an object. You can also start from text alone, or give the AI image editor up to 5 reference photos to combine, for example a product and a scene.

Every edit runs on a current image model that you pick: GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2.1, Grok Imagine, Nano Banana Lite. An edit costs 5 or 10 credits, the price is shown on the button before you start, and a failed edit gives its credits back.

“Put the mug on a white marble slab with soft window light”

A phone shot on a messy counter becomes a clean listing photo. The mug, its glaze and its shape stay the same; only the surface, the light and the background change.

AI image editor FAQ

Is this AI image editor free?

You can try it free: signing in with Google adds 5 credits, enough for one edit with Nano Banana 2.1, Grok Imagine or one of the AI to Real tools. More edits need credits, from $14.90 for 500.

How much does one edit cost?

5 credits with Nano Banana 2.1, Nano Banana Lite, Grok Imagine and the three AI to Real tools; 10 credits with GPT Image 2 or GPT Image 2.5 at 1K, 2K or 4K. The cost is printed on the button before you start.

Is an AI photo editor the same as an AI image editor?

Mostly, yes. People say AI photo editor when they start from a camera photo, and AI image editor when the picture can also be a screenshot, an illustration or an AI render. This AI image editor takes both: upload any photo or image, or start from a sentence alone.

Which model should I choose?

GPT Image 2.5 for precise edits that must leave the rest of the photo alone, GPT Image 2 for text and product shots, Nano Banana 2.1 for natural skin and keeping faces, Grok Imagine for bold styles, and Nano Banana Lite for quick drafts.

What photos can I upload?

JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB each and up to 5 photos per edit. Upload only photos you own or have permission to edit.

How long does an edit take?

Usually between 10 seconds and a minute, depending on the model: about 50 seconds with GPT Image 2.5 and 30 seconds with Nano Banana 2.1. A timer shows the wait while the AI image editor works.

Will it keep the face and the rest of the photo?

Yes, if you ask for it: say what must stay ("keep her face and the pose") as well as what should change. GPT Image 2.5 and Nano Banana 2.1 are the most careful with faces.

Do results have a watermark? Can I use them commercially?

No watermark, and you can download at full resolution. You may use your edits commercially as long as you have the rights to the photos you uploaded (see the terms of service).

What happens if an edit fails?

The credits come back to your balance automatically, and the error is shown in the editor. A photo that does not pass the content check is refused before anything is charged.

Are my photos private?

Your uploads and results are visible only in your account. Uploaded photos are deleted after 7 days; results stay until you delete them from My images.
